Weekend City Break in Vilnius

Day 1 Arrival to Vilnius and private transfer from the airport to the 4* centrally located hotel. Free time for lunch, time to relax. In the afternoon enjoy a 3 hour Vilnius city tour with English speaking guide. The tour will introduce you to the rich history of Lithuanian capital and reveal the charm of the city‘s heart. Variety of architectural styles, cosy alleys and yards, each hiding a legend behind will make you fall in love with Vilnius. See the panoramic view from Gediminas Castle Tower or St. John‘s Bell Tower, impressive Castle street, Gothic masterpiece – St. Ann‘s church, Amber Gallery, Baroque Vilnius University and miraculous Gates of Dawn.
Optional in the evening Lithuanian beer detestation & dinner. Have a short tour in Lithuanian beer restaurant – brewery, try 5 different kinds of beer, hot dish from a selected menu & traditional Lithuanian beer snacks.
Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 2 Have breakfast at the hotel and meet your English speaking guide for trip to Trakai (28 km from Vilnius). Trakai - the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit the 15th century Insular Trakai Castle housing an exhibition on prehistoric findings and applied art of 17-18th century, the way of life of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and the Karaites, brought to Lithuania from the Crimean Peninsular. Later – lunch in traditional Karaites restaurant.You will have a chance to try out unique Karaites liqueur.
Return to Vilnius. Free time to walk around, get souvenirs and try local specialties. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3 Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. Private transfer to the airport. Departure.
