About this activity
Flying from the hangar in the Matukituki Valley you will visit the remote alpine Lake Lochnagar.
You will then continue across the Harris and Darran Mountain ranges to Milford Sound where you will land and have the opportunity to take a short nature walk.
Fly the length of the Sound and enjoy a landing on a rugged West Coast beach before continuing your flight back over the Olivine Ice Plateau wilderness area, around Mt Aspiring, viewing her associated glaciers with their blue ice and crevasses.
Enjoy a fourth alpine landing with spectacular views back across the Southern Alps. Your flight ends above the braided turquoise blue Matukituki River.
