Blue Pools Guided Hike
You can’t leave Wanaka unless you have taken a trip to the iconic Blue Pools at the start of the Haast Pass. The track winds its way through Beech forest and across a swing bridge to a viewing platform over the Blue Pools. This well known and photographed spot is an easy 1 hour return walk and suitable for all ages. Combine this walk with another shorter hike for a full day out.
Pickup time 7am, drop off approx 10am. 2 person minimum, single supplement available (please choose the single supplement option upon checkout).
Suitable for all ages. Children are aged 4 to 16. Children and infants aged under 4 are free. Strollers, child seats and baby backpacks available for hire on request.
IMPORTANT INFO!- Your mandatory gear requirements will be confirmed prior to the tour and is dependent on weather conditions. You maybe excluded from the tour if you have insufficient gear.

- Appropriate footwear with good tread. No jandals/thongs/flip flops.
- Sufficient hydration – minimum capacity will be advised prior to tour

- A small day backpack or running pack with sufficient storage capacity
- Merino or thermal long sleeve top (cold weather only)
- Warm beanie (cold weather only)
- Polyprop/thermal gloves (cold weather only)

- A maximum of 6 people per booking
- Minimum numbers apply (2). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund. Single supplement fee available.
