Essential Wanaka: Jet Boat - Walk - Helicopter - 4WD Safari

Your day begins with a pick up from Wanaka River Journeys who operate the first element of your trip the jet boat and walk. On your jet boat journey you will cruise along the pristine, glacially fed waters at up to 80 kph, surrounded by towering snow capped mountains. Once up far into the mountains you will take a Wilderness walk through ancient beech forest to enjoy the tranquility of New Zealand's nature. After your walk you will be whisked away by your helicopter flight and glacier landing, where you will walk on crisp white ice of the Isobel Glacier. After time to take in the view as well as photos you will be returned to your awaiting jet boat to head back to the rivers edge for your picnic lunch. 
After lunch you will hop aboard your awaiting 4WD for your next adventure. Your 4 wheel drive Safari will take you over the rugged terrain of an authentic New Zealand high country station cattle farm. We will travel through towering mountains and beautiful valleys with the chance to witness red deer, cattle and sheep in their natural environments. After your unforgettable day of adventure you will be returned back to town.

Duration: 6.5 hours (we always endeavour to have you back on time, however when booking other activities /and or pick ups for after your trip please allow 30 minutes extra in case your trip runs behind)
