About this activity
1) Parking -
884 Deer Harbor RdEastsound, WA 98245, USA - Street Parking is available directly across from County Dock where the Sailboat "Lille Danser" will be departing from. If this location is full a secondary parking location next door at the Orcas Island Yatch Club maybe used. If you need additional help text or call 414-629-2085
2) Departure
Time - Afternoon Sailings Depart at 2pm unless otherwise arranged.
3)
Payments or wavers can be paid onboard if not completed before arriving.
4) What to Bring - Temperatures out on the water are often much cooler than land temperatures so if you plan to be out on the deck vs in the cabin while under sail it is recommended to dress in layers. You are also welcome to bring your choice of drinks or snacks for your voyage.
5) Where do we go - Westsound Bay it's self often offers excellent sailing, with views of Turtle Back Mountain and several smaller islands in the bay. We like to go where the wind wind blows so we may venture out towards San Juan Channel through Wasp Passage. This narrow passage is often done under power vs sail and close up views of waterfront homes is a fun part of the trip. San Juan Channel is a larger body of water that offers several state park islands. If there is a lack of wind guests some time choose to spend some time hiking and exploring some of these smaller islands.
