  • What to Bring Please bring an electronic copy of your confirmation email and Photo ID. One member of your party must have a valid photo ID that matches the credit card used. Please note our AR bar is cashless, so bring a Credit or Debit Card to make purchases. Check-in information Please arrive at least 10 mins before the scheduled time slot. Latecomers will be accommodated at the discretion of the staff at an appropriate time. Please note our last Daytime session ends promptly at 7pm Sun - Thu and 5pm on Fri & Sat. Discounted Tickets: Each individual ticket holder must fit the category of their ticket, and must bring their student or military ID and will be asked by the staff to show it upon check-in. Getting here: ARTECHOUSE is located just steps away from the National Mall and the Smithsonian Metro Station at 1238 Maryland Ave SW, Washington, D.C. 20024. It is accessible by Metro (via Orange, Blue, Silver, Yellow and Green subway lines), by taxi, and by car. Parking: In addition to street parking and numerous commercial lots and garages, there is a parking garage next door to ARTECHOUSE on Maryland Ave SW as well as across the street on D street. There are no refunds or exchanges. All ticket sales are final. Tickets include admission only. Terms & Conditions 1(a) Age Limitation: This installation is open to all ages. Visitors ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. All children, especially those under the age of 12, need to be closely supervised by their accompanying adult to ensure their safety and the safety of the artwork. Guests must have a valid government-issued ID to consume alcohol. 1(b) Discount Tickets: By purchasing discounted tickets guests confirm that they and/or their guests belong to each specific group. Each individual ticket holder must fit the category of their ticket. Guests must bring their student or military ID and will be asked by the staff to show it upon check-in. 2) Refund and Exchange Policy: There are no refunds or exchanges. All ticket sales are final. 3) Reselling Policy: Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale. Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotion, or other commercial purposes except with the express written consent of ARTECHOUSE. ARTECHOUSE reserves the right to refuse entry to any customer who has purchased tickets and resold them, or to any person attempting to attend an installation with such tickets. At the time of check-in the purchaser of the tickets will be asked to show their ID, if you are purchasing tickets for someone else, please notify the staff at tickets@artechouse.com. 4) Reproduction Policy: It is unlawful to reproduce any tickets in any form. In the event of reproduction, ARTECHOUSE reserves the right to refuse entry to the original purchaser as well as any person attempting to attend with reproduced tickets. 5) Cancellation or Date/Time Change Policy: If the installation showing is canceled for any reason other than “force majeure,” ARTECHOUSE will refund the face value of tickets purchased. Showing is not considered “canceled” if the entry is delayed or there is a waiting line for the allocated time slot. In the event of any entry delays, ARTECHOUSE is not required to refund the value of any tickets purchased for that time slot. If there is a significant delay in entry ARTECHOUSE will accommodate you at the subsequent session when possible. 6 Lost tickets: Will be replaced provided you have your confirmation number and email available. 7) Late Arrival Policy: We suggest that you arrive at least 10 mins before the scheduled time slot. Arriving late to your session can be extremely disturbing to your fellow attendees. Latecomers will be accommodated at the discretion of the staff at an appropriate time. 8) Photography & Copyright Taking photographs or filming is permitted exclusively for private purposes. ARTECHOUSE does not allow Filming, Photoshoots or Commercial Photography inside the space. We take copyright infringement very seriously. ARTECHOUSE is a place for people to experience original art, and although we appreciate visitors sharing their experience through personal photos and videos, we require all visitors to respect artist's copyright and not use such footage in a commercial manner or self promotion. Using content that you do not own represents a serious breach of copyright law and our Terms and Conditions. 9) Disruptive Behavior:It is the policy of ARTECHOUSE to provide a safe and appropriate environment within the art space. When the behavior of a patron constitutes a disruption which interferes with the use of art space by other patrons or which interferes with a staff member’s completion of his/her duties, patron will be evicted from the premises. No refunds will be provided. Participants thought to be unstable or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be admitted. ARTECHOUSE reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. 10) Disclosure: This exhibition has a special reflective floor, all guests will be given foot covers to wear. Guests wearing shoes with heels will be asked to remove the shoes before putting on the foot covers. 11) Waiver & Release of Liability: As consideration for being permitted to visit and tour ARTECHOUSE, I hereby release the gallery, and its respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assigns, heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse, and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to my visit and tour of the art space, the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to my visit or not, and however caused, by any Releasee, or the condition of the premises. By accepting conditions below you expressly agree to assume all risks of injury to you, any minors in your care, your representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, agents and assigns that could arise as a result of your participation in use of ARTECHOUSE facilities, including, but not limited to, viewing and/or use of exhibits, stairs, any equipment, and participation in any and all activities at the ARTECHOUSE. 12) Notice of Filming & Photography:By entering ARTECHOUSE, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media or any other purpose by ARTECHOUSE and its affiliates and representatives. 13) Agreement: Submitting a ticket order indicates your AGREEMENT to these terms and conditions.
  • This exhibition​ is not recommended for individuals with a family or personal history of epilepsy, anxiety, claustrophobia, migraines, heart conditions, a history of seizures, and/or sensitivity to flashing lights. Exhibit is highly immersive and installations use strong lighting effects.
  • Please note this exhibit utilizes reflective floors that contribute to the overall visual experience. All guests will be given foot covers to wear. Guests wearing shoes with heels will be asked to remove the shoes before putting on the foot covers. This is a mandatory procedure.
  • Participants thought to be unstable or under the influence of drugs will not be admitted.
  • Due to the complex technology employed, installations may require unplanned maintenance; this may result in delays for visitors or in the cancellation of a visit. If it is not possible to reschedule a delayed or cancelled visit, a full refund will be issued.
