We both learnt lots about Washington's private life. We really enjoyed this trip and quick stop on Old Town Alexandria.

The tour was a big success not only because it was a beautiful day but also because our guide, Joe, was so knowledgeable, funny and nice that it made the time more enjoyable.

We reccomend this trip. It takes you to a beautiful time in history. Very nice. We took the shuttle service once the place is further from town and transportation can be difficult. We were the only ones in the shuttle, so when we return to DC our driver Joe took us as close as possible to our next destination, going out of his way to accomodate us. The only problem is that there is not enough time to see all at once. If you are not driving your car you have to manage yor time wisely. It is worth to extend the visitit to the wharf and gritsmill.

Disappointed. Expected more commentary about the area on bus trip up and back. You can do Mt. Vernon on your own and save money. Did enjoy Christchurch visit and commentary.
