Aside from the monuments being so beautiful Chris, our guide was fantastic. His wealth of knowledge is unbelievable and made this a fantastic experience. I leave knowing so much more about the details, planning and thoughts that go into created these memorials to these great Americans and historic moments in our Country’s history. Thank you Chris and Ali!
We really enjoyed the night time tour of DC. The only comment I have is that I thought the tour guide could have guided the group on every stop rather than staying near the bus on some of the stops
This was a very intense tour of the monuments by night. I wasn't expecting to walk as much as we did, so be prepared! We stopped at all the sites, for a photo opportunity, which was great. Our guide was quite informative, but more information would have been welcome. If you are limited on time in D.C. I would highly recommend this tour. The monuments illuminated, are not to be missed.
The tour was great. Edgar and Curtis are wells of knowledge about the city of Washington DC, the history and the stories of our nations capital. They were courteous, and wonderful hosts. It was quite apparent they love what they do for vistors and tourists of Washington DC.
Great tour. Vernon was an excellent guide and Andre was wonderful driver. Very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.
Our tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She kept the tour on track and checked on the group many times to make sure everyone was doing ok. We covered a lot of ground in this tour and saw the highlights of the city.
Vernon was our tour guide for the 3 hour evening tour of the monuments, and we can't recommend him highly enough. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and the pace of the tour was perfect. Plenty of walking and time to take pictures, but Vernon kept us on schedule while giving us a comprehensive experience visiting the major Monuments of DC.
I have been on many night tours in dc over the years and by far, this was the best. Our guide, Esau, was pleasant and very informative.
We loved this tour! We got to see so much! This was my favorite tour in DC!. It does fill it up fast, so book early.
Would definitely do this tour again! The guide was very knowledgeable, places visited was good. My family and myself felt safe as the driver was safe, picked us up at places that were close and safe.
Hands down the best tour we took during our 12-day DC trip. Our guide Dion made the tour a worthwhile and meaningful experience; his personal stories and detailed explanations of the monuments was well received by all. His professionalism and attention to detail clearly demonstrated that he has a vested interest in making sure his guests have a great experience. As a Veteran I greatly appreciated his acknowledgement of our US Armed Forces and their contributions. I recommend this tour for visitors and local residents.
We had a great time and saw some beautiful views of DC at night! The walking pace was just fine, and we had plenty of time between walking and being on the bus to change it up enough to be interesting. We wish we could've spent more time at each memorial, but that's the nature of a 3-hour tour of so many sites! We would highly recommend this tour for everyone! The bus driver even gave us ice-cold bottled water halfway through the tour, which helped immensely in the summer heat! Would definitely recommend to all those who are comfortable walking for several hours! :)
We met our tour group at the Navy Memorial and boarded the motorcoach there. The motorcoach was very clean and comfortable. John, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of historical information at each stop as well as pointing out different landmarks along our trip route. We stopped at several locations, including the White House, as well as the WWII, Jefferson, Lincoln, MLK, Korean, Vietnam memorials and the Capitol. At each stop we walked as a group to the memorials while our tour guide gave us insights into the history of each one. It was a busy night with other tour groups nearby so at times it was hard to hear him speaking if you were more toward the back of the group. There was more walking than I had anticipated, but that was not an issue for us. I really enjoyed having the driver waiting on us when we were finished with a stop instead of having to wait for the next bus/trolley to come by which is the case with the hop-on/hop-off tours. I felt we had sufficient time to view/explore and take pictures at each stop, but there was a time limit at each one so the tour could remain on time. At the end of the tour, we arrived back at the Navy Memorial and about half of the 24 in our group were being taken back to their hotels. I'm not sure why that option was not made available when I reserved my tickets. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely take this tour again!
We had Henry as our guide and he was PERFECT, knowledge, humor and a true compassion of what he was doing!!
Christopher and Mike were very informative and friendly. Chris was very comical. It was on time and ended on time. The bus was very comfortable. Helped us on and on the bus. We got to see a lot in three hours. We would recommend this tour for sure.. We were offered complimentary water. We saw Washington D.C. during the day but at night it is more impressive.
The night tour was great. What a beautiful city and the monuments were fantastic. Tour staff was very friendly and informative.
It was a wonderful experience. I was able to see all the monuments at night without all the walking! The guide was great and had some really good trivia questions to keep us occupied during the ride.
Lovely weather made for perfect sightseeing evening. Our guide Dale was full of historical details albeit a bit loud. Pace yourself during the day for 3 intensive hours of additional walking. We were definitely exhausted at 10:30p. But worth the $ and time.
Our guide Christopher did an amazing job. He was very knowledgable as well as funny. We really enjoyed touring the monuments at night. I highly recommend it for everyone!
Excellent tour. Too fast paced for my father who walks with a cane. Nonetheless, the tour guide and bus driver made sure to take my father to the Vietnam War Memorial and let him spend 30-40 minutes there while the rest of the passengers were seeing the other sites. Kuddos to the driver and guide! Would hightly recommend this tour!
Tour was great. Buses made it easy to see a lot in just a few hours. Vernon did an outstanding job as the our tour guide. He was very energetic, informative, and just an all around great guy.
I very much enjoyed the Washington DC Guided Night Tour! Although it was a very cold evening with single digit wind chills, we visited all of the scheduled monuments. The guide gave us the full story at each place and we were limited in time to take photos only by the weather, never the guide. The warm bus was always waiting for us so we were able to warm up in between stops. We even had a full moon which added to the beauty of the monuments.
The tour was a magnificent experience, our guide Henry was excellent and our driver did a fantastic job. I would recommend this to anyone, but if you can get Henry it's a definite bonus.
Tour was very informative and the monuments were very pretty at night all lit up. Bella was our tour guide and did a great job of pointing out specific things while also letting us tour around by ourselves.
The night of the tour it rained none stop. Henry, the tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Even though the conditions were not ideal, Henry’s sense of humor made the night very enjoyable. This tour is a must if visiting DC. Visiting the monuments at night is a completely different experience than in the day.
Christopher was amazing!! Very knowledgeable, energetic and tolerant of our group!! Learned a lot from his tour!! Highly recommend!!
