Lake Tekapo Scenic Jet Boat Experience

What you can expect
Your trip will start with a complimentary accommodation pick up in our unique 4WD bus. You will then arrive at Pines Beach, the Tekapo Jet starting point. Our driver will fit you with a life jacket and you will board the vessell. You will get an opportunity to take photos before heading off. He will then run through a short safety brief before cruising out towards Motuariki Island where you will start to experience the beauty of Lake Tekapo and be thrilled by manouvers and 360 degree spins performed by our professionally trained and experienced drivers. You will also stop on the way and learn the unique history of the area.
At the island you will learn its history and a maori legend or two! On the way back you will stop at the white cliffs and in the bay and of course you will experience some more spins and thrills. Last stop will be to view the famous Good Shepherd Church from the lake. There will be plenty of phots opportunities on the way and our driver is happy to answer any of your questions. On returning to Pines Beach you will disembark and remove your life jacket and will then be transported back to your accommodation. We allow 1 hour for the round trip. What ever you do, don’t forget your camera!
