We really enjoyed this trip - we felt it was informative, good fun and had some really lovely little extras. Phillip was really thoughtful and took his time to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and comfortable. The 'Half Day' was a great option for us as it meant we could have a bit of a sleep in and didn't get back into Wellington too late. Would highly recommend.
Sue picked us up and off we went for a great drive and tasting, was perfect not too fast as we were real tasters
Good day but due to it being an Easter weekend there were some wineries closed. We only ended up having tasting at 2 wineries instead of the promised 3. We did manage to fit in lunch which was needed as it was around 2 o'clock. Fortunately we had a great group of people so we hardly noticed that we had missed out. Also for the 2 people in the back of a Prado it was a little cramped.
First, the tour provider was excellent in every way, even correcting a mistake I made in booking. The driver was on time, friendly, safe, trustworthy and all around excellent. The pricing was very reasonable. The driver took time to point out interesting sites along the way. The wineries are boutique wineries. It is not a large well-known wine country. Just the same, I enjoyed my visits to all of the wineries and found the staff to be very courteous and kind.
