The cable car is one of Wellington's most popular tourist attractions. At the top you will gain some of the most beautiful views of the harbour and city.

You will passby the Carter Fountain which is located 150m out into Wellington Harbour along Oriental Bay. It was named after its benefactor Hugh Carter who tragically drowned 4 days after its inauguration.

You will drive through Breaker Bay where you will briefly stop to hear the story of the Wahine disaster.
