About this activity
The Otari Eco Trek starts at either 9:30am or 1:30pm daily and are 3 hours in duration. The tour departs from central Wellington and we travel past some of the city’s most famous icons on our way to Otari Wiltons Bush. The Trek starts at the Waharoa (Maori for entrance) and we head through the Fernery and examine some of the undergrowth . We then head down to the creek, all the while looking out for the Native birds the frequent the area. Including Kereru, Tui, Kaka, Kakariki and Karearea to name a few.. A comprehensive commentary from your guide who will also be happy to answer any of your questions along the way. Complementary Hotel pick ups and drop offs offered.
