About this activity
Our frightening make-up effects have featured in films such as Brain Dead (1992), Black Sheep (2006)and 30 Days of Night (2007). Recreate the gory days by learning to sculpt and colour your own scars and scrapes! Spots are strictly limited.
Take your Weta Studio Tours experience to the next level with an interactive workshop led by Weta Workshop Crew! Gain exclusive access to our group experience space and learn in an inspiring setting.
SCULPTING SCARS & SCRAPES
It takes a small amount of silicone gel, some creative flair and plenty of sticky silliness to recreate a convincing wound! Join our crew to learn how its done. You’ll be covered in special effects make-up, staging a werewolf attack and scaring your friends in no time.
The Movie Blood & Chainmaille Workshop takes place at our off-site group experience space is located on Park Road – just a five-minute walk from the Weta Cave. Please arrive 15 minutes before your experience starts.
PLEASE NOTE
• This experience is strictly an interactive workshop and does not include a tour. For a full glimpse behind-the-scenes of filmmaking, we recommend booking one of our incredible tours.
• Photography is strictly prohibited in our tour spaces.
• On-street parking is free, but can get busy. Please allow ample time to find a park.
• There is no luggage storage in the Weta Cave or at our tour spaces.
