Troy did an excellent tour...he had so many salient bits of information and history from Cuba Street to the construction of Te Papa's. He kept a good pace for someone who has walking difficulties. But it was helped because we were the only people on the tour. LOVED the descriptions of the art and going to the Chocolate Factory. So much we took in. We enjoyed every moment. AND we took good advantage of Troy's suggestions on where to eat and what to do. Thank you, Troy! So awesome!

We were the only tourists to take this tour, so we got outstanding service from Troy, our Wellington resident and guide. We walked quite a distance but not so fast that we missed anything in particular. Moreover, we saw things that were not listed anywhere, including the inside of the Supreme Court and had a detailed explanation of the design of the building and the indigenous materials used in its construction. All in all we walked for about 2 hours and found this really good value for money. The only observation I would make about this tour is to ignore the joining instructions which refers to the Weta Workshops Statue. Ignore that reference, just wait outside the Tourist Information Office in Wakefield Street. Hopefully Viator, who offer this tour will amend their information, I am sure some people gave up looking for a statue that isnt where they say. Brilliant tour otherwise, guide was exceptional.

This tour was lead by Troy, a genuinely enthusiastic guide who enjoyed sharing some of the history and contemporary culture of the lesser visited Cuba Street precinct of Wellington. It was a delight to be educated about the characters who have helped define and create a lifestyle still celebrated
