Your tour begins when you are met by your Hammonds Wellington Tours Driver/Guide who will brief you on the plan for the day.
You will visit 4 popular Wellington breweries (note these may change dependent on availability).
By the end of your tour you will have tasted porters to pilsners and think you have died and gone to craft beer heaven. We have tracked down some of Wellington's best brews, which includes a tutored tasting with the head brewer at one of our four stops. A widely diverse range of converted buildings ranging from a disused service station to a sophisticated craft beer brewery. Tasty platter food is included at two of the stops and all of the craft beer tastings at all breweries are included.

On the way to your first stop Garage Project you will learn about the history of the Aro Valley establised in 1850 and named after the river. You will see the old wooden houses before arriving at the quirky and artistic Garage Project.

Stop At: Garage Project, 68 Aro Street Aro Valley, Wellington 6021 New Zealand

Garage Project is your first stop of your tour and one of the most well known breweries out of Wellington. Here you will have a chance to tour the brewery while learning about the history and brewing process. (Beer tastings included).

Stop At: The Hop Garden, 13 Pirie St, Mount Victoria, Wellington 6011, New Zealand

Heading towards your next stop the Hop Garden you will pass Cuba St, originally named after a ship but now homeland of Havana coffee and all things Cuban. The perfect place for the Friday night markets, night shopping or come back later and visit Black Dog Brewery.
Arriving at the Hop Garden enjoy some tastings of the brews of the month with matched shared food platters while hearing about the history of the brewery.

Stop At: Parrotdog Brewery, 60/66 Kingsford Smith St, Lyall Bay, Wellington 6022, New Zealand

You will then head out toward popular surf spot at the (locals) beach, Lyall Bay while hearing about the rugged coastline. Arriving at another popular brewery; Parrotdog
At Parrotdog enjoy tastings while hearing about the history and brewing process. (beer tastings included)

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Fork and Brewer, 20 Bond St, Te Aro, Wellington 6011, New Zealand

Your last stop will be the Fork and Brewer located in the heart of Wellington. Here you will enjoy a brief tour, tutored tastings and food platters to share.
You can choose to finish your tour here or be taken back down to the i-site.
