Meet your host Marjorie at her cozy and comfortable home with fabulous views overlooking the river Moy, the salmon capital of the country. Marjorie grew up in a bed and breakfast that her parents ran and learned about food and hospitality from her parents. Marjorie now runs her own B&B, has written four cookery books, hosts cookery programs on TV and writes for food magazines. To hone her cooking skills, Marjorie continues to attend cooking classes and enjoys recreating friends’ recipes. She loves feeding people and puts a big emphasis on presentation. Experience life in rural Ireland with this wonderful host in her home and B&B in a beautiful village overlooking the river, a paradise for people who like the outdoors.

Learn to bake from this lovely Irish host and then join her at her dining table or outdoor patio (weather permitting) to enjoy a traditional homemade Irish meal and to learn about how the Irish live their lives. Your meal comprises a main course, a side and dessert. Your menu may include dishes such as Irish Guinness stew with seasonal vegetables or a seasonal fish pie with a side of potatoes. Your meal will conclude with a seasonal dessert such as Marjorie’s signature strawberry cheesecake or an apple and blackberry pie followed by an Irish coffee. Marjorie’s daughter Rachel may join whenever she is in town.

Marjorie runs a B&B out of her home so there may be other patrons there but your meal will be a private experience with Marjorie.
