About this activity
Itinerary

After taking the Whistler Village Gondola up the mountain the tour starts at the mountaintop office where the guide gives the guests their gear. You then start hiking to the base of the Whistler Glacier. The guide gives an interpretive tour with lots of information about local geology, animals, fauna and other interesting notes. Get your hands on the summer snow high above Whistler and enjoy the cooling breezes coming down off the glacier. This is a great place to take breath-taking photos.

Absolutely incredible, highly recommend! To be able to walk through snow whilst wearing a t-shirt and shorts is one of the coolest experiences! We had never seen snow so this was a totally unique experience. The views from the top of the glacier are absolutely breathtaking, photos do not do it justice. The views even from the gondola trip are awesome! We had a great guide Annie, who was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Glissading sliding down the snow at the end was a highlight, do it if you can!
