About this activity

The tour includes transport and guide service. Lunch is not included but you can visit a local pub, farmhouse tea room or bring your own - the choice is yours.

Pick up is from your Lake District hotel at 0930 to discuss how much or how little hiking you wish to do during the day. There are many options that will be selected according to time of year and the weather on the day but highlights will include waterfalls, lakes and stunning mountain views - weather permitting! In terms of places visited there are highlights not to be missed such as Castlerigg Stone Circle, Grasmere, and the easy walk to reach the stunning view from Latrigg summit.

The tour will finish approx 1700 back at your hotel or if you are departing by train at Windermere station
