About this activity

After being picked up from your Windermere hotel at 9.30am, set off in your private vehicle to take in the highlights of the Lake District in winter.

Having discussed your preferences in advance and taking into account the weather and road conditions, your private guide will devise the perfect tour itinerary for you. Perhaps make the most of the crowd-free winter season to explore popular beauty spots such as Rydell Water or Coniston Water; sample local specialties such as gingerbread in Grasmere village (own expense), take a cruise on Lake Windermere (own expense), or enjoy spectacular views of the Langdales mountains.
