You’ll have 14 magnificent days to explore, starting off in Windhoek, Namibia one of the smallest and cleanest capital cities in the world where you can treat yourself to the famous locally brewed beer, the Windhoek Lager. Admire the sunset at Fish River Canyon, journey over the Namib desert with its splendid red dunes and go on safari in Etosha National Park. End your tour in the bustling and sophisticated city of Cape Town, nestled between mountains, beaches and Winelands,

This tour gives you several nights of camping under the African sky and transport in an Adventure Overland Safari Vehicle (fitted with 20 luxury seats), which will ensure that you’ll get an unforgettable camping experience in Africa. With time to explore on your own and optional activities including hikes and skydiving, you’ll soak up the beauty and diversity of Southern Africa.

Day 1 Windhoek

Explore Windhoek during the day and meet your group and your Tour Leader in the evening at 18:00 to get acquainted and review your trip details.

Day 2 Windhoek to Etosha National Park

Depart after breakfast for Etosha National Park, one of Southern Africa’s most loved wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 3 Etosha National Park

Enjoy a full day’s game drive in our Adventure Overland Safari Vehicle. Gather memories of unique sights that you will not likely experience again. Overnight in the newest camp inside Etosha National Park and maybe you are just lucky enough to fall asleep with the haunting call of hyenas or a lion roaring in the distance.

Day 4 Etosha National Park to Kamanjab

We overnight about 20 km outside Kamanjab on a family farm. This extraordinary place offers guided tours around an authentic Himba village. Experience in depth the life and ways of living of the last traditional tribe in Namibia.

Day 5 Kamanjab to Brandberg

We travel south-west to Brandberg which is home to Königstein, at 2,573m above sea level the highest peak in Namibia. At Brandberg we offer a variety of guided self-drive tours with our Polaris Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV).

Day 6 Brandberg to Swakopmund

Today you continue to Swakopmund with its cooler Atlantic sea air, cultural experiences and options for some adrenalin fuelled activities.

Day 7 Swakopmund

Swakopmund’s big variety of attractions caters for a huge variety of tastes and styles. You can take a walk along the beach and dip your toes in the icy Atlantic Ocean, or visit the Kristal Gallery which boasts with the largest Quartz Crystal Cluster on display in the world, weighing in at 14 100 kilograms.

Day 8 Swakopmund to Boesman’s Camp

Today we travel to Boesmans’ Camp, a campsite situated on the border of one of Namibia’s spectacular landmarks, the largest conservation area in Africa, the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

Day 9 Boesman’s Camp to Sesriem

Today there are exciting places to visit in the Sesriem area. The Sesriem Canyon, a charming little canyon carved in the sedimentary rock will convince you that “size does not matter”. Climb the 170 meter high Dune 45 – named for its proximity to the Sesriem Gate.

Day 10 Sesriem to Fish River Canyon

Today you have an early departure and long drive south to the Fish River Canyon. On the way, you will pass the small towns of Helmeringhausen and Bethanien and a farm settlement here and there, but other than that it will mostly be just the wide open Namibian landscape with spectacular scenery. Look forward to experiencing a spectacular sunset, as the sun slips over the canyon’s rim in the early evening.

Day 11 Fish River Canyon to Gariep River

We head for the Gariep River today and overnight on the Namibian side of the Namibia / South Africa border. You can go on an optional canoe trip on the river or relax at camp enjoying yet another spectacular sunset. Watch how the waters of this majestic river change colour to shades of orange till the sun finally sets its head on the horizon. Prepare yourself for another peaceful African evening around the campfire.

Day 12 Gariep River to Trawal

Today we cross the border into South Africa. We visit the Arica4us Kids Project in Kamieskroon where you can spend some valuable time with the children playing some games or reading a book to them.

Day 13 Trawal to Cape Town

Continue to the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, one of the world’s most picturesque cities. Journey through South Africa’s Western Cape Region. Overnight close to the V&A Waterfront, where you will have easy access to the wide variety of activities and attractions offered by this culturally rich and historic city.

Day 14 Cape Town

Our last goodbye, a healthy breakfast and the end of another incredible tour.
