6-Day Namibia Desert and Etosha National Park

Day 1-Windhoek-Namib Desert (B; L & D)

You will be picked up at 08:00. Passing over the Eros Mountains and Khomas Hochland Range. As we come through the mountains we drop down from the central plateau to grassy desert savannah. We stop at Solitaire for petrol and perhaps also afternoon tea before we continue to our first night at Namib Desert Lodge or similar.

Day 2-Dune 45, Sossusvlei - Desert Experience (B; L & D)

Early start to catch the soft light of the sunrise over the desert. Passing through Sesriem we continue towards Sossusvlei with sand dunes rising above us on either side of the road. Stop at the famous Dune 45. After breakfast, a desert walk in the cool of the morning. A short excursion to Sesriem Canyon in the afternoon.

Day 3 Sossusvleis to Windhoek (B& L )

After breakfast you will check-out and return to Windhoek traveling through the beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. On your way back yo will stopover at Solitaire. You will arrive back in Windhoek before lunch. You will be dropped-off at your hotel or Lodge.

Day 4 Windhoek to Etosha National Park (B, L&D)

After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel or lodge and head north. You will stop for lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo. After lunch you will continue your drive through Etosha National Park for a game drive. A good night's rest will be required so that you are able to wake-up early, refreshed and ready for your next adventure.

Day 5 Etosha National Park (B,L&D)

You will rise early and soon after breakfast start your full-day game drive in Etosha National Park. The early morning hours provide time for magnificent exploration as you visit the waterholes. You will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in search of the “Big 5” and other animal species. A light lunch will be provided and allow you some time rest, gathering energy for your next adventure. After lunch and some rest and relaxation you will visit the last waterhole that will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. Before sunset you will head back to the lodge for dinner where you can share stories of your experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos. After a night of stories and photos, you will turn in for the night.

Day 6 Etosha to Windhoek (B&L)

After breakfast you will check-out and travel back to Windhoek; driving through the park for your last glance at the landscape and in hopes of that last chance to view more wildlife. Before lunch you will be dropped-off at your choice of accommodations in Windhoek - we recommend Discovery Guest House. This is where your safari will end.
