About this activity
Day-1 Airport-Discovery Guest House, Windhoek
Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport, Discovery Transfers and Tours will collect you from the airport and drop you at Discovery Guest House. Your rental vehicle will be delivered to you today. All your travel information will be presented to you before you undertake your memorable journey. Spend your time today by exploring the Namibia’s capital city.
Day-2 Windhoek-Etosha (B)
Early start is recommended today, drive to the mighty Etosha National Park. Your journey will take approximately 4-5 hours. stop in Otjiwarongo/Outjo for lunch. Arrive in Etosha mid afternoon, game drivel for the remaining hours before you check in to you lodge. After dinner, good night rest.
Day-3 Etosha National Park (B)
You will rise early and soon after breakfast start your full-day game drive in Etosha National Park. The early morning hours provide time for magnificent exploration as you visit the waterholes. You will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in search of the “Big 5” and other animal species. A light lunch is recommended to give you ample time for your next adventure
Day-4 Etosha National Park-Swakopmund (B)
Today you have 540km long drive ahead of you. Drive via Outjo and turn off right before Otjiwarango towards Omaruru. Picnic lunch in Omaruru,. Continue via Karibib and Usakos and then across the Desert to Swakopmund. Arrive in Swakopmund mid-afternoon where you will have time to explore the town and do different types of activities.
Day-5 Swakomund-Cape Cross (B)
After breakfast head for an excursion to the seal colony at Cape Cross, north of Swakopmund, where you will be able to experience thousands of fur seals at close range. The rest of the day will be free with plenty of time to explore the town. Swakopmund is a very pleasant seaside town with lots of shops, a good stretch of beach (although the Atlantic is quite cold here) and an open-air curio market. There is also a very good museum and the Namibian National Marine Aquarium is located in Swakopmund. Alternatively, there are various optional activities that can be arranged. These include a boat-tour (with oysters and champagne) scenic flights and micro-light flights over the desert, fishing trips (either from the beach or in a boat), quad-bike trips into the desert and over the sand dunes around Swakopmund, sandboarding, skydiving and many other activities.
Day-6 Swakopmund-Windhoek (B)
Today your driving is 380km on the tarred road, you will drive across the Namib Desert towards Usakos, Karibib, Okahandja and Windhoek. On the road make a stopover at Okahandja the largest wood carvers in Namibia. Your tour end here. Thank you for support
