Day 1: Xi’an (L)
In the morning, our driver and English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Xi'an and starts the tour with the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World.” The museum is located approximately 30 km east from Xi'an downtown and shows an amazingly high level in sculpture. Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum was originally found by four local farmers drilling a well in 1974, but now is considered the most important attraction in Xi'an.
After lunch continue to visit the Xi'an Ancient City Wall, the most complete preserved and the largest existing city wall in China. It was originally built in the Ming Dynasty for military defense and now becomes an important tourist attraction in Xi'an. Afterwards your guide and driver will transfer you to the Muslim Quarter, a charming area buzzing with various exotic food stalls, souvenir shops and diverse visitors. Then, leave for Mount Huashan. Upon arrival, you will check-in to your hotel at the foot of the mountain. You can choose your preferable cuisine or restaurants for dinner at your own expense. Your guide can always provide restaurant recommendations.
Day 2: Mount Huashan - Xi’an
In the morning, visit the Mt Huashan, and take a cable car to the North Peak of the mountain. Your guide will provide detailed information in advance and you will start your adventure from the North Peak. On the top of the mountain, there are several destinations such as the Buddhist and Taoist temples, sculptures and engravings. You will pass by the Gold Lock Pass where you can buy a golden lock. Put the golden lock on the iron chains on the Gold Lock Pass which is believed to bring you safety and health.

Great tour til I was dropped at hotel and my guide effectively demanded a tip for the driver. She also expected a tip. Not aware tips were a REQUIREMENT. Don't recall seeing anything on website when booked. As a single traveller I'd paid a lot for trip and this ruined what had been a fab trip.
