5 Days Private Beijing & Xian Tour by Overnight Train with Hotel

Day 1 Beijing Arrival(Lunch)

Upon your arrival in Beijing in the morning, our guide and driver will meet you at train station / airport. Then start your Beijing tour with Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built with wood. There were 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912) lived in the Forbidden City. Today you will also pay a visit to Silk Shop.

Day 2 Beijing (Breakfast + Lunch)

Hotel pickup at 08:00. First we will pay a visit to Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. After lunch, we will drive about 1 hour to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. Cable car is available and optional. On the way back to city area, we will make a stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube to pay an outer visit and take some pictures. Today you will also pay a visit to Jade Market.

Day 3 Beijing – Xian by Overnight Train ( Breakfast + Lunch)

In the morning, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Then take a rickshaw to explore Hutongs to see the real life of local people. After lunch drive to visit Yonghe Palace (The Lama Temple), the birth place of the Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. The last stop is Confucius Temple which was built in 1302 in memory of the great educationist Confucius. After the tour take the overnight train Z19 (20:40-08:31)to Xian.

Day 4 Xian (Lunch)

Met by Xian guide and driver at train station and start your Xian tour with Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World”. The museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture. After lunch you will go back to city area to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Then take a walk on the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda to have some relaxing time.

Day 5 Xian Departure (Breakfast + Lunch)

In the morning visit Shaanxi History Museum. Then you will pay a visit to City Wall which is the most complete preserved and the largest city wall in China. Bike riding on the City Wall is available and optional. Next, visit the Bell and Drum Tower Square as well as the Muslim Street. After the tour you will be escorted to train station / airport for departure.
