5-Night Tour of Xi'an and Chongqing with Yangtze River Cruise

Day 1: Xi'an Arrival
Your driver will pick you up from Xi'an Xianyang International Airport and transfer you to the hotel of your choice. You may spend the rest of day at your leisure after checking in.

Day 2: Xi'an Day Tour (B)
The highlight of the touring planned for you today is the world-renowned Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. This site is reputed as the largest underground military base in the world. In the afternoon, head for the Xian Museum, a museum housing 130,000 pieces of archeological items and then to explore the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the two most significant Buddhist pagodas in Xian, which was built around early 8th century.

Day 3: Xi'an - Chongqing (B)
Today you will explore the ancient Xian City Wall, the largest and best-preserved wall extant in China now. Move onto the Great Mosque, the oldest and biggest Islamic mosque in the country. Also we would stop at the nearby Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square for some great photo opportunities. After that, drive to the airport to catch the flight heading Chongqing. Upon arrival, visit the Ciqikou Old Town if time permits. Later, you will embark on the luxury Yangtze River Cruise ship which will weigh anchor at 10.30pm.

Day 4: Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
Today, you will have a shore excursion tour at either Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai. In the evening, enjoy a "Captain's Welcome Party" to watch the Chinese folk dancing and a musical performance.

Day 5: Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
Sail past the jaw-dropping view of the Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Xiling Gorge. Along the way, take an excursion to Badong and experience a small wooden boat trip on the magnificent Shennong Stream. In the evening, the cruise ship is slated to pass through massive ship locks if weather permits.

Day 6: Depart from Yichang (B)
After breakfast, disembark for a visit to the grandest hydroelectric project in the world, the Three Gorges Dam. After the ship arrives in Yichang, your guide will meet you on board and take you to the airport where this 6-day tour concludes.
