Day Tour with Lunch: Impressive Xi'an City

This group day tour starts in the morning at around 9:00 am, your local tour guide will pick you up from your centrally located Xi’an hotel and escort you to explore the city top attractions.

You will firstly come to the Shaanxi History Museum —the first modern national museum built in 1983. Here around 370,000 exhibits vividly show the craft of over a million years. This museum is regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures”. The grand buildings imitate the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty with a two-storied central hall and four worship halls, and the predominant colors of black, white and grey give the halls an atmosphere of solemnity and rustic charm.

Then you will stroll around the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is a popular resort for both the locals and tourists. Admire the well-preserved ancient building and the holy place for Buddhists and experience the local life.

After enjoying a delicious lunch in the local restaurant, you will visit a Silk Factory to learn Chinese silk culture. Then continue to visit the ancient City Wall - the most complete city wall in the country and one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Listen to your guide’s introduction of the ancient wall and its profound history. Walk on the wall, or cycle along it if you are daring, and enjoy the full view of the old city.

Afterwards, your guide will transfer you back to your downtown hotel, and your memorable Xi’an city tour concludes.
