Day 1
In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up at the lobby of your downtown Xi'an hotel to visit the ancient City Walls. These walls enclose the heart of modern Xi'an City. Opt to cycle atop the walls and overlooking the life of the city. Then, visit the site of the Terracotta Warriors, an archaeological treasure where approximately 8,000 soldiers and hundreds of horses stand on guard in three excavated pits in an on-site museum. Learn how the underground warriors were discovered (by accident) in 1974, and why Emperor Qin Shihuang commissioned the statues to serve as his army in the afterlife.
Day 2
In the morning, you will visit one of the biggest museums in China, Shaanxi History Museum, here you will learn 3,000 years history of China. At noon, opt for a local restaurant to enjoy authentic Shaanxi food for lunch and social with locals. Afterwards, continue to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This majestic Buddhist pagoda in Xi'an can date back about 1,300 years during the Tang Dynasty. Built to store and translate Sanskrit Buddhist Scriptures that a monk brought from India. It is the only tall pagoda from historic Tang era still standing. Opt to climb up the pagoda. Later, take time for an orientation walk of the city to explore the bustling night bazaar in Muslim Quarter before your guide and driver take you back to the hotel.
