About this activity
Day 1: Xi’an Arrival (No meal)

Our driver will greet you at Xian airport/train station by holding a welcome board with your name. Then the driver will transfer you to your hotel. The rest day is free for you.

Day 2: Xi’an (Lunch)

In the morning your first stop will be Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in the Tang Dynasty to keep Buddhist Sutra brought from ancient India by Master Xuanzang. Afterwards you will visit 600 years old City Wall to learn about that ancient military defensive construction. Visitors could optionally ride a bike on the wall top.

At lunch time you will visit a local family and have lunch in the family. You will be given a lesson on dumpling making or famous Chinese cuisine cooking. If you like you could also join in the lunch cooking and enjoy sweet fruit of your effort. 

In the afternoon pay a visit to Xi’an Museum. The large numbers of historical & cultural relics in the museum will introduce you to history development of Xi’an. And later take a walk on Muslim Quarter to explore the best know food street in Xian.

Day 3: Xi’an – Yuanjiacun Village – Xi’an (Dinner)

In the morning meet our guide in hotel lobby and start to folk culture & local food tour. Driving about 1 hour you will arrive at Yuanjiacun Village which is free of charge. In the village one will have chance to watch Qin Opera Show, try authentic local food, experience milling flour, waving cloth, making vinegar and grinding soybean to make Tofu (Bean Curd). Our guide will introduce some best eateries when wandering in street. We will not arrange lunch in fixed restaurant. You could try as many kinds of local food as you like.

In the afternoon, drive to visit the famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses which is known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World”. The museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture. The museum includes three Terracotta figure pits as well as the exhibition hall of Bronze Chariots and Horses.

In the early evening after dumpling dinner you will enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show in the theater. The show ends at about 21:10. After the tour, drive back to hotel.

Day 4: Xi’an Departure (No meal)

Our local driver will pick you up from hotel lobby according to flight schedule and transfer to airport for flight departing Xian.
