About this activity
At 1:00pm, your guide will meet you at your downtown Xi’an hotel and drive to Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the world’s greatest archaeological finds. The Terracotta Warriors were discovered in 1974 by a group of peasants who were digging a well on the outskirts of Xi’an. These sculptures of soldiers, chariots, and horses were funerary statues made to accompany China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, to his afterlife. The soldiers are all in different ranks, postures, height, uniforms, and facial expressions. It is believed that there are still thousands of warriors and hundreds of horses and chariots uncovered in the three pits excavated so far. After the museum, follow your guide to visit Xi'an Art and Crafts Ceramics Factory where you will see how the terracotta armies are created.

Relax for one hour at the Angsana Hot Spring Xi’an Lintong, a hotel comprising several outdoor hot springs for a holistic hydrothermal experience.Following the hot spring, you will have a dinner at the Zhenai Lishan Daqin Xiaoyan a restaurant, a Tang Dynasty Thematic Restaurant specialized in traditional Xian cuisine. Once you finish the dinner, your guide will take you to enjoy the “Song of Everlasting Sorrow” Show.

“The Everlasting Regret” is created by Shaanxi Tourism Group, leader of the Chinese Cultural and Creative Tourism Industries”. The theme of this dance drama is the legendary love story between Emperor Minghuang and Consort Yang of Tang Dynasty. The libretto was adopted from the poem - The Everlasting Regret. The production is a fusion of legends and reality as well as culture and tradition fashion.

"The Everlasting Regret" is performed every evening from April through October. It is comprised of 10 scenes, "Young Lady of the Yang Family," "Chosen to Serve the Emperor," "Midnight Whispers," "Bathing in Huaqing Hot Spring," "Blue Skies of Pleasure Palace," "Drunken in the Marble Pavilion," "Heavenly Musics in the Wind," "Battle Drums from Yuyang," "Fallen Hairpin," and "Reunite Again in Heaven or on Earth." You will appreciate the stage design, classical musics and dances, narrative poems, high-tech lighting, acoustics and special effects of this spectacular show and also be touched by the love story from Tang Dynasty.

After the show, you will be transferred back to your downtown Xi'an hotel where this tour concludes
