Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi'an 710600 China

Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 9:00am in the morning. After meeting up, get on a comfortable vehicle to start the journey to the eighth world wonder, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.

It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world’s cultural heritages and is actually the mausoleum of the first Chinese emperor in the ancient time. The tremendous underground army was made to guard the emperor after his death. Now the warriors still stand solemnly waiting for an order. Their facial expressions could be seen clearly although they have been buried for more than 2,000 years. The site mainly consists of three warrior pits. Each pit is like an enduring mystery that remains hidden within its depth. No one knows the exact story behind those vivid figures but everyone has a story for them deep in mind by imagination. Upon arrival, you will first check out those life-size warriors and horses.

To provide you the flexibility to taste local food, lunch is left for your own arrangement. Your guide is always happy to recommend good restaurant for you or give you some advice.

For the afternoon arrangement, it is flexible for you to decide. You may choose to visit the Hanyanglin Museum only (The museum is a bit far from the city) or two sites from the following: 1. City Wall 2. Big Wild Goose Pagoda 3. Shaanxi History Museum 4. Bell & Drum Tower 5. Muslim Quarter 6. Great Mosque 7. Gao's Grand Courtyard 8. Small Wild Goose Pagoda 9. Forest of Stone Tablets Museum.

At the end of the afternoon tour, you will be transferred back and dropped off at your hotel.

Not sure how I feel about this one. The tour doesn't include any of the admissions, so expect to spend another 60 - 100 for a group of 3. You are basically getting transportation and a guide and for that, you are spending a lot. Well overpriced. You can get super cheap transport out to the terracotta warriors without much effort. That said, the guide was very good and nice. He helped us purchase our tickets. He did have information about the site and he english was good. He also made suggestions for other things we could do while in Xi'an. We had a good time. The terracotta warriors themselves were very neat. We then visited the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and treated to a separate tour and private calligraphy demonstration. That was neat. But it's probably twice what it should cost. So I don't know. We enjoyed it. Paid a bit for it. But I can see where an extra couple 100 may be worth the guide and the lack of hassle. It was hassle-free.

Michaela was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the sites that we visited. We chose to start at the Big Goose Pagoda in Xi'an, followed by the terra cotta warriors and finished with a walk on the city walls. It is important to note that you get nothing except your driver and tour guide with the price of this tour. You will be expected to pay entry fees at all of the sites. We were taken to an obvious tourist trap restaurant for lunch. We ordered a few items and felt pressured to order more dishes. We wound up paying for our guides lunch she went to the bathroom when the bill arrived and the entire meal cost more than we spent on food for the entire time we were in Xi'an 4 days!. I would have rather eaten street food from the vendors outside, than have the sit down meal in the restaurant We felt rushed around at both the pagoda and terra cotta warriors. I wanted to stay and take photos at the pagoda, but felt like we were constantly chasing after our guide. When we finished our day at the wall, we said goodbye to our guide and told her that we would walk home. This took her by surprise, as she was expecting to take us to dinner and drop us off at our hotel. Since we didn't want to spend another 50 on dinner, we passed and enjoyed a slow and quiet walk around the city wall.

Most amazing trip. It was much more than we imagined and that was thanks to our guide Jerry , who went beyond his time and made it the most memorable part of our China trip . He suggested the Tang Dynasty show and even helped organise our trip back from the hotel to the airport. love to visit again

My friend and I really enjoyed our private tour with Wendy! Our customized tour included the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Hua Qing Palace, Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque, and City Wall. Wendy was very flexible and was knowledgeable about Xian's history. We enjoyed all of the historical knowledge that we learned from her. This tour is great since it includes seeing the Terracotta Warriors but also allows you to customize the remaining sights that you want to see.

This was a great tour! Jerry took us to the Terracotta Warriors Museum and then to the Big Goose Pagoda. Both were very interesting and I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.
