8:30am-9:30am Hotel Pick-up and drive to the Warriors
Your guide will contact you the day before departure and tell you the exact meeting time and place. You’ll be picked up by private car or van, and then head to the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Lintong District. It’s about a one-hour drive.
9:30am-12:00am Visit the TerraCotta Warriors
It is worth having a knowledgeable guide with you to explain everything in the museum. Usually LET guides visit there over 150 times per year. And You will have 2 hours at least for visiting.
The highlights of the museum are the three pits (Pit One, Pit Two, and Pit Three) where the warriors are on display, and the Exhibition of Bronze Chariots. Pit One is the largest and most impressive, with about 2,000 terracotta warriors on display. Pit Two uncovers the mystery of the ancient army formation. Pit Three represents the command post.
12:00am-1:00pm Lunch
Our guide can assist you in selecting a place if you want. After lunch, take a cup of tea for rest and ready for afternoon activities.
1:00pm-2:00pm Drive to the Han Yang Ling
Take a van go to the city wall, you can take a nap after 2 hours walking at the warriors, or ask our guide share some stories about ancient Xi’an.
2:00pm-4:15pm Visit the Han Yang Ling and drive to the Xi’an Ancient Wall
Hang Yang Ling Museum has an underground exhibition hall so that people can see the results of the archeological digs in the big mausoleum complex of Emperor Jingdi (also named Liu Qi, 188 to 141 BC) of the Han Dynasty, his wife, officials, dynastic clan members, and commoners. There is also a graveyard for slaves who built the complex. The amazing is that the museum just over the satellite tomb for this emporer, you can see some special stuff which buried for the emporer’s afterlife. Then we are drive to the Xi’an Ancient Wall.
4:15pm-5:45pm Visit the City Wall and cycling
It is said that a Xi’an tour is not complete without visiting the Ancient City Wall that has been guarding the inner city since the 13th century. The walls, ramparts, gates, and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete city defenses in China. If the weather is good, cycling will be incorporated into the visit, and you will enjoy some good views of the city. The bike rental fee is not included in the price.
5:45pm Back to the Hotel
After the wall your guide and driver will send you back to your hotel. Please feel free to ask your guide for dinner suggestions.
