About this activity
Pick up from Xiamen International Cruise Terminal and take ferry to Gulangyu Islet.
You will take a peaceful walk and appreciate various old buildings. The oldest building dates to 1896, although most were built around the 1920s and '30s. Some are nicely preserved, while others stand in various stages of ruin. They were after all real homes and not sanitised historical museums. Ficus trees lining the alleys lent the area an even older feel.
We will also visit Shuzhuang Garden, a beautiful seaside garden and the famous Piano Museum with a collection of 80-fold rare old pianos from all over the world. Later we will climb to the top of Sunlight Rock to enjoy a panorama view of Gulangyu island.
After that, take ferry back to Xiamen International Cruise Terminal. End of your fabulous half day Gulangyu Tour.
