About this activity
Pick up from your hotel in Xiamen and take a 1.5 hours drive to Quanzhou.
Visit Shaolin Temple, it was originally built during the Tang Dynasty and then destroyed in 1763 AD. There are usually thirty to forty different monks in training on the temple grounds who practice martial arts daily. Then transfer to Kaiyuan Temple, one of China's largest and most important Buddhist temple, and the nearby East & West Pagoda, said to be the best preserved stone pagodas in China.
We will having "Zongzi" for lunch. Zongzi is a traditional Chinese food made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves, generally of the species indocalamus tessellatus, sometimes, with reed leaves, or other large flat leaves. 
We will go ahead to visit Qingjing Mosque, which is the oldest Mosque in China and rated as one of the top ten Muslim holy sites of the world, and the nearby Guandi Temple. Guanyue Temple was dedicated to two famed Chinese generals, Guan Yu and Yue Fei, but it is also the home of over twenty other military heroes.
Transfer back to Xiamen at the end.
