About this activity
Day 1: Yangon sightseeing (-/L/-) - Pick you up at 9:00 AM and visit to the Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, the famous Scott Market, visit to downtown bustling streets, visiting some of the British colonial-era architectural gems that remain and the boulevard-like Pansodan Street, which is famous for its architecture and its street-side bookstalls. Then visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most important religious structure in Myanmar and a point of pilgrimage for Buddhists across the globe. Later we will drop off at Chinatown area in Yangon’s downtown; it is a nice place to get some good food and drink, where you can walk around to enjoy the color of night life. Then back to hotel by own account.
Day 2: Yangon-Nyaung U (flight), Bagan sightseeing (B/L/-) - Transfer to Nyaung U and visit famous temples including Damayarzaka Pagoda, Shwegugyi and Thabyinnyu, Gubyukggyi, Abeyadana Temple and enjoy sunset at the excellent place.
Day 3: Free day in Bagan (B/-/-) - Today’s enjoy your free time or explore on your own.
Day 4: Bagan-Mandalay (car), Inwa-Amarapura (B/L/-) - Drive to Mandalay and visit to Inwa including the ' leaning tower of Ava', Maha Aung Mye Bonzan and the teakwood monastery Bagaya Kyaung. Then, visit Amarapura and take a sunset boat around U Bein Bridge where you have a chance to enjoy the sunset.
Day 5: Mingun-Mandalay (boat) (B/L/-) - Visit the market of Jade stone. Then go to jetty to take a pleasant ride to Mingun, where is best known for the Mingun Pahtodawgyi and the Mingun Bell. It is said to be the largest hanging un-cracked bell in the world. Return to Mandalay and sightseeing to Mahamuni Pagoda, a gold leaf hammering craft shop, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and if time permits Mandalay Hill for a view over the city and Ayeyarwaddy River.
Day 6: Mandalay-Heho (flight), Inle Lake (B/L/-) - Fly to Heho. Drive to jetty and sightseeing by boat to Inn Paw Khone Village where you can see lotus and silk weaving industries. Next, visit Nanpan village to see the traditional boat making, cheroot making factory and Phaung Daw Oo pagoda.
Day 7: Indein-Taleoo (B/L/-) - Visit to the crumbling 17th century pagodas at Indein and explore ethnic Pao villages. Next, head to Intha house, to learn about cooking traditional dishes.
Day 8: Heho-Yangon (flight) (B/-/-) - Fly to Yangon. Connect with International Departure flight.
