Half-Day Art Galleries Tour in Yangon

You will be picked up at your hotel for a short drive to downtown Yangon to visit a range of local art galleries. You can visit at least three galleries depending on the opening hours, current exhibits of the galleries and your personal tastes.

You can start your trip by having lunch at the Link Age which is a quaint non-profit restaurant and gallery which teaches street kids hospitality and life skills.

After lunch, we will head to the Pansodan Arts which showcases a wide range of artwork from budding Myanmar artists as well as of older masters, out of which some are milestones in the country’s art history.

Before leaving downtown, take the opportunity to visit the newest addition to Yangon’s arts scene, the Sule Eain. Explore the River Gallery in the Strand Hotel - the premiere art space of Myanmar, which is home to works by the country’s leading artists, and a source for news and views about Myanmar’s art scene.

We proceed to Lokanat Gallery, a non-profit gallery that features a small collection of traditional works as well as rotating exhibits of temporary Burmese artists. Final stop at New Treasure Gallery, where you can see an amazing exhibition the work of young Burmese artists. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel safely.
