Stop At: Yangon Zoo, SW side of the lakes Lake Side, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar

After pickup at the Thilawa Port by your private guide and driver, your Yangon tour begins downtown at Sule Pagoda, located in the heart of the city. Explore Strand Road, and then visit Bogyoke Market, once known as Scott’s Market, the biggest in the city. You’ll be amazed by the hundreds of goods, from food to arts and crafts to clothing. Enjoy lunch, and continue your tour to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, home to one of the world’s largest reclining Buddha statues at about 220 feet long (65 meters). Then visit a local tea shop to experience a piece of Burmese culture before making your way to your last stop, the venerable Shwedagon Pagoda, which dates back more than 2,500 years. Sheathed in 11 tons of gold, the stupa is quite a sight to behold. You’ll enjoy a sunset view of the stupa to end your day tour before returning to your original departure point.
