About this activity
Our Aurora Tours start at 10 PM from 01 August to 15 November & start at 9:30 PM from 16November to 31 May. We will take you to 3 different locations to view aurora and also to click pictures. You will be given a tour in English and we have Mandarin / Cantonese staff as well. You will also be served with warm beverages and cookies during your tour to keep you warm and comfortable. Our staff will make sure we click plenty of pictures for you to have a lifetime memory. We will pick up and drop off to and from you place of residence in Yellowknife.

Although we didn't manage to see aurora on day 1 (due to cloudy sky), our never-give-up hosts, Amit and Chris were very friendly and tried their best to bring us to different viewing spots. We like this small group aurora tour (unlike some other operators) and decided to engage Yellowknife Vacations on our 3rd night. This time, Amit has proven that the selected viewing spots are great to watch level 5 aurora. They provided photos (seems unlimited) with no watermark (North Star charge a fee for watermark of their co logo to be removed) and we learned a few good tricks from Chris on how we can capture aurora w the different camera settings.
