Joe was a very experienced, knowledgable guide. We got to see everything but a grizzly bear. He answered all questions. Joe made us feel like a long lost friend. I would recommend this trip to anyone. It was well worth the money.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our Yellowstone Tour. We received a helpful call the night before reminding us when we would be picked up at our hotel in Jackson in the morning. Our guide, Eddie, was right on time. He was friendly and personable and very knowledgable about Yellowstone and the Tetons. Eddie was driving an SUV that had plenty of room for us and the other couple he also picked up in Jackson. We decided on the tour so that we wouldn't have to worry about missing anything or worrying about parking, etc. It worked out great! The first day, on the west side of the loop, was warm and sunny except for rain towards the end which resulted in our putting off Mammoth Hot Springs until the next day. Chico Hot Springs Resort was very nice, but we were a little disappointed that rain prevented us from spending much time in the hot springs pool. The second day it was still raining. We planned to go to east side of loop then double back because the road was supposed to be closed still from winter, at which time we would see Mammoth Hot Springs. While on the east side, we discovered the road was open then the weather turned bad and it started to snow. Eddie decided for our comfort and safety that we should take the shorter route on the east side instead of doubling back, so we did miss Mammoth Hot Springs, but we all agreed that it made more sense to stay on the east side. We still got to see several famous sights, as long as we were willing to be a little cold and a little wet. Our lunch the first day was a fun picnic in the woods where we were joined by a bison that happened to stroll into the parking area where he decided to have his own picnic. Because of the snow the second day, the tour treated us to lunch in a cafe at Canyon Lodge. Eddie checked several times a day on where we could find wildlife sightings. We were fortunate to see bears, elk, bighorn sheep and lots of bison. I would recommend to everyone that they layer their clothes and bring a waterproof jacket. Our weather varied from the upper 70's to the lower 30's in the two days we were there at the end of May. I would also recommend that everyone come with a good attitude and the understanding that the tour guide is not responsible for the weather, or the wildlife showing up. We believe that Eddie went above and beyond in his efforts to see that we were comfortable and to make sure we got as much out of the trip as possible.
