7 Days 6 Nights Central Java Cycling Tour

Day 1: Arrival Yogyakarta – City tour – Dinner with performance

Meet your tour guide upon arrival at Yogyakarta airport. You will be visiting the Sultan’s Palace, Sonobudoyo and Taman Sari, followed by dinner at a local restaurant with a traditional Ballet performance. Continue to your hotel and check in upon arrival.

Day 2: Yogyakarta – Imogiri – Parangtritis - Yogyakarta

Breakfast at your hotel and start the journey by bicycle towards Imogiri via less traffic road on to Parangtritis beach. Besides being famous as a recreational spot, Parangtritis is also a sacred place. Many local people come here for meditation. Stop at local restaurant for lunch, then you will be driven back to your hotel by air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 3: Yogyakarta – Prambanan – Solo

Breakfast at your hotel, check out and transfer to your next hotel in Solo. Today’s cycling trip will depart from your hotel to Sambisari village, then journey to Prambanan Temple. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, cycle to Klaten on the way to your hotel in Solo where the tour will end.

Day 4: Solo – Karang Anyar – Sukuh – Tawang Mangu – Solo

Breakfast at your hotel, then start cycling towards Solo with stops at the centre of Wayang Puppet art and the Batik Centre followed by a trip to Karanganyar. Afterwards, continue to Karangpandan up to the mystic Sukuh Temple on the mountaintop. Then, proceed to Tawangmangu where your cycling will end and drive back to Solo.

Day 5: Solo – Boyolali – Borobudur – Magelang

Breakfast at hotel then drive to Boyolali and Selo village for the cycling start point. The road heads towards Mungkid, then to Borobudur Temple, where lunch will be provided. Afterwards, proceed by bicycle back to the hotel, where today’s cycling tour ends.

Overnight at Puri Asri Hotel

Day 6: Magelang – Mendhut – Pawon – Candirejo – Yogyakarta

Breakfast at your hotel. The journey takes to Mendut and Pawon Temples and Candirejo village. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Continue cycling to Yogyakarta via an alternative route, then today’s cycling will end back at your hotel.

Day 7: Departure Yogyakarta

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be picked up at the hotel lobby on designated time. Check out and transfer directly to the airport for your onward flight to next destination.
