At 8am, your taxi will come to pick you up from your centrally locate hotel in Yokohama and transfer you to Mt Fuji by taxi.
Your first stop will be the Mt Fuji 5th Station where you will start the ascent up Mt Fuji via the Fuji Subaru Line and climb 7,546 ft (2,300 meters) above sea level for breathtaking views from above the clouds.
Then, you will visit the famous lakes at the base of Mt Fuji with four of Fujigoko (Fuji Five Lakes) including Lake Kawaguchiko, Lake Saiko, Lake Shojiko and Lake Motosuko, the town offers different views with different lakes.  The Kachi Kachi ropeway, a 30 minute activity, reaches the summit in three minutes, and then from the observation area at an elevation of 1,075 meters there is a 360 degree panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, and on fair weather days even the Minami Alps (Mount Akaishi and Mount Arakawa).
The Oshino Hakkai, a 50 minute visit, is a natural monument that is a set of eight spring water ponds that comes from the subsoil water of Mt Fuji. For this reason, this water is thought to be sacred water and is also extremely pure since it is filtered through porous lava layers. Lake

At the Yamanakako Onsen, you can experience bathing in a natural alkaline hot spring bath and see a beautiful view of Mt Fuji while enjoying a relaxing soak in the open-air bath for about an hour.

Yes, when I read the reviews, someone stated that you might want to be sitting down when you read the price. It was worth every penny. I have been taking tours like this - yes, some less costly, for more that 40 years. This was by far the best ever. Yoshiuki Takai was our driver and Miki Takanaka was our English speaking guide. Not only were they on time, they were early. Not only were they early, but they had arranged for an earlier pick up so that we could be back at hour son's home earlier....and even dropped us off at a different location....thus saving us considerable time. Representatives of Viator and the Tokyo Taxi Company worked with us on the details of our trip. We could not go to the 5th station, but I got closer to Fuji than ever before. Mr. Takiai treated us to moochi at our first stop. They recommended a wonderful place for a Japanese Udon Hot Pot lunch. It was wonderful. We wasted no time being lost. We wasted no time standing in lines...they had our trip planned so that we were there in plenty of time for boarding. Ms. Takanaka had a great deal of knowledge about the Japanese culture and spoke perfect English. She answered all of our questions, but more importantly conversed with us as people and we came to know a bit about each other. Both offered to take pictures at various spots and stopped to allow us to have pictures taken at scenic areas. The told us that should we ever need a rest stop or coffee to just let them know. Ms. Takanaka never left us out of her sight and she always contacted Mr. Takai shortly before our activity was over and he was always there immediately to pick us up. We visited several shrines, the Five Lakes, took a cruise, rode ropeway and ended the day with a relaxing hour at a beautiful Onsen. There were plenty of places to pick up gifts and souvenirs if that was on your agenda, but other than Sacred Mount Fuji water and some Mount Fuji cookies for our grandchildren, we were not interested in shopping. We were given exactly the tour we wanted and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for which I am very grateful. Thank you to Viator and Tokyo Taxi, but especially thank you to Miki and Takanaka.
