Departure from Zadar towards Krka National Park

Stop At: Krka National Park, Skradin, 22000 Croatia

In Krka National Park your guide will introduce you to the history and legends of beautiful Krka waterfalls.

You will stroll through well organised trails on Krka river, enjoy in peace of surrounding forest and discover most beautiful travertine barriers.

Learn more about the way locals lived in these area by visiting renovated stone houses with ethno exhibition and watermills that were used to ground wheat.

Besides that, you will discover hydropower plant situated within Krka National Park. It is second hydropower plant of this kind in the World, built just two days after the one at Niagara falls according to Nikola Tesla's design and patent.

After that you will go to Skradinski buk waterfall. It is 800m-long cascade that descends by almost 46 m before crashing into the lower lake.

During summer you can take a swim next to the waterfall and relax listening the sound of rustling water.

Stop At: Visovac Monastery, Island of Visovac, Krka National Park Croatia

Visovac islet is situated at the center of the lake and you take a boat ride to the islet where you will have free time to take a walk around the island and to see Franciscan Monastery founded in 14th century.

Stop At: The Cathedral of St James in Sibenik, Trg Republike Hrvatske Sea Promenade, Sibenik 22000 Croatia

Sibenik city has a medieval heart. It is the oldest Croatian town. With a labyrinth of dalmatian steep streets and its defensive fortresses it is a joy to explore.

We will spend 2 hours sightseeing Sibenik and its main attraction - the Cathedral of St. Jacob (UNESCO World Heritage site) which was built for over 100 years. It is the only cathedral in the whole Europe constructed entirely of stone. No wooden architectural elements were used for its building.

Later you will have some free time to explore the city on your own.
