To get started, you will have an option to take a walk or hop on a bicycle* on your way to the atelier where this workshop will take place. Either way, pleasant stroll or a ride towards the workshop will be nice overture into what we have prepared for you there.

You can say our clay instructor is sort of a wizard since her creations come into life right in front of your eyes, she is well-established artist who likes to keep in touch with Nature as her work is mostly influenced by the magnificent power of Mother nature. Extraordinary shapes and textures replicated from nature's beauty and brought to nature's perfect imperfection within so very adjustable, yet delicate clay will become a masterpieces of their own as each piece will tell its own story.

Create pieces by hand building, throwing, or a combination of both techniques. The instructor guides you through a variety of methods to build, decorate, and finish your ceramic projects. Designed for all skill levels, this class is a great introduction to ceramic fundamentals. Bring clay to life in the ways only you can imagine through sculptural objects. Explore form, scale, proportion, surface and narrative possibilities of the material by learning various hand building techniques while making one of pieces. Share insights, inspirations and questions about ceramic art and investigate different surface treatments including both ceramic and cold-finish options. This class is a great opportunity to learn some basics of making ceramic sculpture and three dimensional art and finding ways how to incorporate that knowledge to your ceramic making.

Experience the satisfaction of designing and creating your very own dinnerware, serving pieces, and objects for the garden. Hand building technique demonstrations include slab construction, coil building, pinching and extrusion. Applied textures are also demonstrated.
