About this activity
Meet your local guide at 9am for this 6-hour tour of the splendor of Zakynthos. Traveling by climate-controlled coach or minivan with a small group, explore the beautiful landscape and gain insight into the island’s life.
Take in the sweeping views of the neighboring island of Kefalonia from a scenic viewpoint. Head over to Anafonitria and explore St. Denis Monastery, where the Patron Saint Agios Dionisos once lived.

Stop for a local lunch in a traditional mountain taverna (at your own expense), before visiting the village of Louha. This stunning village was protected by the mountains in the devastating earthquake of 1953 and is still maintains a historical charm. Take a stroll through the lanes and photograph the stone buildings and curving streets. At the conclusion of the tour, return to your resort.

Quite a nice tour of the northern/north-western part of the island. Sue has lots of stories to tell, and it's really worth spending several hours to get to know more about the island. The stops during this tour are also nice. For visitors who want to explore the island but cannot rent a car, book this tour.
Prompt pickup, full coach. Firstly stopped overlooking Alykes/Alykansas for a photo, then onwards to St Nicholas Bay where you could stop for a coffee or a sit on the beach or alternatively go on a boat trip for 7 euros to see the caves. We then went on a the view point overlooking the famous view of the shipwreck on the beach for photos and then onto a monastery where although the main church was looked there were al ot of photo opportunities and some cute cats. After lunch at a taverna avoid the red wine though we stopped an a very elderly olive tree with a twisted trunk for photos.
