Day 1: Hotel-ZJJ Aatar National Park (Yuanjiajie/Mt.Tianzi)-Glass Bridge.Overnight in Wulingyuan Center

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
This is No.1 highlight of Zhangjiajie-The UNESCO's World Natural Heritage formed by a spectacular landform named sandstone peak forest of over 3000 pillars of different shapes and sizes, Highly praised as the " Enlarged Bonsai, Miniature Fairland".

Stop At: BaiLong Elevator, National Forest Park, Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie China
The world highest outdoor elevator (326m) which helps travel reach the mountain top within 1m28sec

Stop At: Yuanjiajie, Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China
Yuanjiajie is the main background of the very Movie: Avatar, located with hundreds of original pieces of "Floating Avatar Mountains".(The major one is called:"Hallelujah Mountain." the view there is really impressive like outer-space. No wonder, it's rated as the most famous highlighted area in the park. The pillars here are bigger-sized than other areas.

Stop At: Tianzi Mountain, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
Tianzi means “Heavenly Prince”. actually, he is the real person who leads the local minority to fight with the government army in Ming Dynasty 500 years ago...Mt. Tianzi Area is the very old battle field. Most of the scenic spots there are combined with historical stories and legends of this honorable man. Besides these, Visually, on the Tianzi mountain top, we can experience the most spectacular view of sandstone peak forest in the park featured by its sharp and slim shape. it’s one of the highlights in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.

This is an amazing architecture with a big idea been accomplished. It is the world longest glass bridge(400m, Elevation:320m), and also the first glass bridge over a nature canyon.

Day 2: Hotel-Golden Whip Stream-Fenghuang Ancient Town.Overnight in Fenghuang

Stop At: Golden Whip Brook, In Wulingyuan District, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
Golden Whip Stream is regarded as the 1 of the most beautiful Streams in China. It’s 6 km long with a well-paved flat walkway at the bottom of valley, which takes us about 2 hours for walking between the 2 ends. it is also where we can see the bottom view of the Avatar Mountain Scenery,very different from the top.On both sides of the walkway, there are hundreds of different-shaped sandstone peaks erecting by a lovely stream,attached with plenty of interesting legends and stories given from locals.the other interesting part is,if lucky, we can see wild monkeys which would bring more fun and make you feel closer to the mother nature.

“Fenghuang is 1 of 2 most beautiful ancient town of China” praised by the writer Rewi Alley of New Zealand 70 years ago, now it has been added in the top 10 China’s ancient town list. Fenghuang assembles the multiple features of the typical water town with gorgeous nature, the mysterious minority culture of Miao and the long history of their dramatic stories, and relics of past war time of Western Hunan,More incredibly, Fenghuang is also a mutual birthplace of a great number of masters and celebrities in many working fields.For eye to appreciate, Fenghuang is highlighted by a row of beautiful riverside stilt wooden houses paralleling with old wall.The magnificent night scene is also the reason to keep us longer there for one or more overnight stays. Impressive Place.

Day 3: Fennghuang Ancient Town-Qiliang Cave-Sitting Dragon Gorge.Overnight in Zhangjiajie Downtown.

Stop At: Qiliang Cavern, Qiliangqiao Country, Fenghuang County 416200 China
This cave used to be the hiddout for the local bandits, now reputed with the reflection of water on 1st and Paradise+Ten Mile Gallery on 2nd Layer. it's quite impressive.

Stop At: Zuolong Gorges, Hexi Town, Guzhang County 416304 China
Surprisingly, to most of my past client, Sitting Dragon Gorge hidden in the deep mountain area turns out to be their favorite spot in western Hunan, because it’s where they can enjoy a fun nature adventure and have an authentic culture experience by interacting with locals in their village. The 1st part of the tour is a 1.5 hours’ hike-up with iron chains in a narrow but beautiful gorge decorated by waterfalls and green-covered stones.when the hike up ends on the top, we will see 2 pretty villages,where we can begin the 2nd part of tour activity: a lovely home stay offered by hospitable Tujia people. For one day and one night, we really join in their life to feel the interesting difference of living style.. They cook or they teach us to cook food picked from their backyard, it cannot be more healthy. At night, it’s so quiet that you can hear a needle dropping also make it a place to listen to the wind and rain, a place to escape from the disturbance of city. when wake up in the morning, we may feel ourselves being purified in heart. This is a great great spot for a really special travel experience combining nature and culture. Personally, My favorite, too.

Day 4: Hotel-Tianmen Mountain-Tujia Folk Park-Junsheng Sandstone Gallery-Happy Ending

Stop At: Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain Ticket Station, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
Tianmen Mountain,as the highest spot of Zhangjiajie, is regarded as the "New Legend Of Zhangjiajie “where you can walk on super-exciting cliff-path and glass walkway and see the whole city and beautiful countryside with bird's view. What is more unbelievable? this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. It is a must-see highlight of Zhangjiajie.

Stop At: Tujia Customs Park, In Yongding District, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
Tujia Minority Folk Park used to be the Palace for the King of Tujia. it’s a nice place to know the local people in old times. The architectures inside are something particularly fabulous. The main attraction is the world highest stilt wooden house called “Nine layered Sky”. Now It's a museum of Tujia Minority, a Great place to know some cultural part of Zhangjiajie.

Stop At: Zhangjiajie Junsheng Painting Institute, No.2 Ziwu Road, Cili County 427200 China
It’s the place where your eyes would be dazzled. Through a 40min’s tour, we can enjoy a unique type of art called Sandstone Painting, which is invented by a very talented and creative local painter:”Li Junsheng”he is really a respectable man with stories and faith of art. Most of his paintings are about the landscape,people and culture of his hometown.(Zhangjiajie and western part of Hunan Province.).so at the end of the tour, visiting this gallery can be a great conclusion for the trip we have experienced. we may see the places you have visited through this wonderful local art.
