Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival

Pass By: Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie, Within the District, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide in the airport or train station who is holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel inWulingyuan Scenic Area. Your guide will help you check in. The rest of today is on your own to explore this beautiful city.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Yuanjiajie Avatar Area & Tianzi(Emperor Mountain) Peak Forest(B, L)

Stop At: Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie, Within the District, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
After breakfast, start your full-day Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Adventure. Located 32 kilometers from Zhangjiajie city, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is the first state-level forest park in China. It is known for its exquisite forests, odd-shaped peaks and rocks, the beautiful canyons, the limestone caves, and the breath-taking panoramic views. The words, such as majestic, eccentric, tranquil, delicate and wild, are not enough to describe it's beauty.

Firstly, go to take the 326-meter-high Bailong Elevator (the tallest and the fastest in the world) up to Yuanjiajie, which is situated in the north of Zhangjiajie National Park. This scenic area is world famous as the mountains here inspired the floating mountains in the Hollywood movie Avatar. The peaks in Yuanjiajie are nearly at the same height, which makes it a mountain platform great for enjoying sweeping vistas.

Next, take a sightseeing bus to Tianzi Mountain, where you can have a stunning view of the peaks rising one after another. Atop of the mountain offers a full extent of the whole scenic area, which is magnificent and spectacular. There are four wonders in Tianzi Mountain: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

After the exciting tour, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.

Day 3: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon(Glass Bridge) &Yellow Dragon Cave(B, L)

Stop At: Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie, Within the District, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
After breakfast, be ready for today's exciting adventures. You'll first drive about 30km from Wulingyuan area to visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. You will start from the Tourist Center to Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge to walk on the highest and longest glass bridge in the world. After that, appreciate the charming sightseeing of running waters, flying waterfalls, lush vegetation, etc. at the Rainbow Square, Yilian Youmeng, Momo Cave, the Holy Spring Lake and other beautiful attractions in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. (Please note: In Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, you can choose to only experience the thrilling glass bridge or fully explore glass bridge as well as hiking and boating in the Grand Canyon. Feel free to tell your likes to your travel consultants.)

Next, you’ll drive about 20km to see the natural wonder in the Yellow Dragon Cave, also known as Huanglong Cave. It is a underground-lost palace which is praised as the most beautiful cave in the world by UNESCO Experts, with an area of 100,000 square meters, a length of 7.6 kilometers, a height of 140 meters. There are two underground rivers, four waterfalls, 13 caverns and 10,000 stalagmites and stalactites is this huge limestone cave. The Magic Needle and Chair of Dragon King are two most famous sights in the cave.

After the sightseeing, drive to Wulingyuan to check in your hotel.

Evening Activity: Take a stroll at Xibu Street, located at Wulingyuan Center, it combines the bars, tea houses, souvenir shops, local snacks and so on. You can relax and enjoy by walking on the streets.

Day 4: Tianmen Mountain(Tianmen Cave, Glass Walking Way, Longest Cable Way in the World, Drive on the 99 Bends Road) (B,L)

Stop At: Tianmenshan Cableway, Dayong Rd, Yongding Qu, Zhangjiajie Shi, Hunan Sheng, China
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. On this day, you’ll first take a trip to Tianmen Mountain. Referred to as the “Soul of culture and spirit of Zhangjiajie”, Tianmen Mountain, standing 1,500 meters above sea level, boasts miraculous and unique geographic landform, unparalleled natural landscape, profound cultural connotations.

Experience the longest cableway in Asia with a length of 7200 meters, take photos of Avenue toward Heaven with 99 turns from cable car. On the top of Tianmen Mountain, enjoy the Cliff-Hanging Walkway and avoid the crowds to take some photos; hold your breath and experience the thrilling Glass Sky Walk. Then, visit the natural mountain-penetrating Karst cave - Tianmen Cave. The foot of the cave is wonderful photo opportunity with the hole in the mountain as the background. It is worth waiting for the sunlight to shine through the hole with mist or smoke illuminating the way.

After the tour get back to your hotel.

Day 5: Red Stone Forest Geo-Park & Dehang Miao Village & Fenguang Night View(B, L)

Stop At: Dehang Canyon, West of Jishou, Jishou China
After breakfast, you will have a tour to Red Stone Forest National Geological Park.The stone forest covers an area of 20 square kilometers in a totally original ecological status. In the stone forest, there are valleys, stream and springs. There are thick grassland and wistaria flowers growing in the forest, making it like a garden of nature. The tall rocks in various shapes can be seen throughout scenic spot. The stone color is changeable in accordance with the weather, time and season. The stone is red in Sunny days, black in the rain, brown and red on cloudy days. It even presents different colors in the morning and evening in a day.
In the afternoon, your guide and driver will escort you to Dehang Miao village.In Hmong, “Dehang” means beautiful valley. The village lies in the central part of Dehang scenic spot. Dehang scenic spot consists of three parts: Dehang Miao Village, Liulong Stream and Yuquan Stream. Each of them has their unique highlights. Dehang Miao Village is built around mountains and waterfalls, with a wind-and-fire wall, Diaojiaolou Houses (vernacular pillar-supported dwelling) and carved windows. Here is inhabited by a group of Miao people. There are many flagstone roads leading you to every corner of the village and other attractions around it.

After the exciting tour, drive to Fenghuang (Phoenix Town) to enjoy the nice Night View of Fenghuang.

Day 6: Fenghuang Ancient Town & Miao Ethnic Southern Wall & Zhangjiajie Departure(B, L)

Stop At: Fenghuang Ancient City Museum, In Fenghuang Ancient City, Fenghuang County 416200 China
Today, have a nice tour in Fenghuang Ancient Town.Fenghuang (phoenix) ancient city, the national famous historical and cultural city, praised by New Zealand famous writer Louis alley as the most beautiful city in China. It is surrounded by Dehang Miao village, Mengdong River Rafting Area, and Fanjing mountain of Guizhou province.

Legend has it that: Ancient India bird "Phoenix" collected scented woods and burned itself when reached the age of five hundred years. Resurrect from the ember, no more death. Chinese called the bird: Fenghuang, a holy legendary animal. In the history, Fenghuang is a symbol of Empress, like the emperor is a symbol of Dragon.In the town dozens of allays are paved with stones that run between the wooden houses built by the Tuo River. Chinese Miao people have stepped on the rock road generations after generations. Highlights of your today's tour will be Phoenix River rafting, The Former Residence of Shen Congwen, and the Ancient Town Museum etc.
After lunch then drive to the Southern Great Wall where 10 km from Fenghuang Ancient Town.This Southern Great Wall was built in 1554 in Ming Dynasty and completed in 1622. The rulers of the Ming Dynasty built it for the purpose of military usage to defend the kingdom against the Miao people of the south.
After the tour drive back to Zhangjiajie city and escort you to airport or train station to your next destination or back home.
