Please note: Your meeting and departure point for the tour can be at airport, train station, or your hotel in Zhangjiajie. Please be specific for your pickup location upon booking in special requirement field.

Day 1: Zhangjiajie City

Your guide will meet and greet you at the airport, train station, or your hotel lobby in Zhangjiajie. Enjoy the rest of your day exploring the city on your own.

Day 2: Bailong evlevator - Yuanjiajie - Tianzi mountain (L)

In the morning, your guide will come to your hotel to meet you and will take you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Ascend to Yuanjiajie Mountain by the Bailong Elevator, a glass elevator built into the mountain. On the summit, you'll hike about 2.5 hours to discover the Pillar of the Southern Sky. It was the inspiration for the famous "Hallelujah Mountains" seen in the movie Avatar. After, proceed to the Platform of Forgetfulness to enjoy views of the peaks, then walk across the Bridge under Heaven. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then, take the bus to Tianzi mountain and visit Imperial Brush, Xihai Stone Forest, and Fairy Lady Presents Flowers. Finish your trip with a Tianzi Cable Car ride before heading back to your Zhangjiajie hotel.

Day 3: Golden Whip Stream - Huangshizhai (L)

Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park once more to explore the Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi) in the morning. This charming valley brings you again into the scenery that inspired Avatar. You'll take a leisurely 2.5-hour hike along the stream, and relax in the beautiful mountains. Later, take a cable car ride to see the Huangshi Village, which is 3,543 feet (1079 meters) above sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform for viewing the spectacular scenery in the national park. You will be transferred back to your Zhangjiajie hotel afterwards.

Day 4: Tianmen Mountain - transfer to Fenghuang (L)

Today, you will take the world's largest cable car to the top of Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. Walk along the Sky Walk, which is made of glass and not for the faint of heart. Then, transfer to Fenghuang, which takes approximately 4 hours. You may relax in the bars of the village in the evening after arrival, or spend your time however you wish. (Please prearrange your hotel stay in Fenghuang for this night).

Day 5: Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie Airport (L)

Visit the old Phoenix and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in XiangXi Tujia. The Ancient Fenghuang (Phoenix) City is reputed as the “most beautiful village in China,” and famous for its surrounding mountains, rivers, and ancient primitive architectures. Your tour guide will send you back to Zhangjiajie, and you can choose to be dropped of at your hotel, train station, or the Zhangjiajie Airport.
