Private Zhangjiajie 7 Day Discovery Tour Including Fenghuang County

Day 1: Zhangjiajie City 

Transfer service from zhangjiajie hehua airport to zhangjie's hotel.

Day 2: Bailong evlevator - Yuanjiajie - Tianzi mountain (L)

You will explore Zhangjiajie National Forest Park first. Ascend to Yuanjiajie Mountain by the Bailong Elevator, a glass elevator built into the mountain. On the summit, you'll hike about 2.5 hours to discover the Pillar of the Southern Sky. It was the inspiration for the famous "Hallelujah Mountains" seen in the movie Avatar. After, proceed to the Platform of Forgetfulness to enjoy views of the peaks, then walk across the Bridge under Heaven. Then go back hotel. 

Day 3: Golden Whip Stream - Huangshizhai (L)

Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park once more to explore the Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi) in the morning. This charming valley brings you again into the scenery that inspired Avatar. You'll take a leisurely 2.5-hour hike along the stream, and relax in the beautiful mountains. You will be transferred back to your Zhangjiajie hotel afterwards.

Day 4: Tianmen Mountain - transfer to Fenghuang (L)

Today, you will take the world's largest cable car to the top of Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. Walk along the Sky Walk, which is made of glass and not for the faint of heart. Then, transfer to Fenghuang, which takes approximately 4 hours. You may relax in the bars of the village in the evening after arrival, or spend your time however you wish.

Day 5: Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie (L)

Visit the old Phoenix and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in XiangXi Tujia. The Ancient Fenghuang (Phoenix) City is reputed as the “most beautiful village in China,” and famous for its surrounding mountains, rivers, and ancient primitive architectures. Your tour guide will send you back to Zhangjiajie 's hotel. 

Day 6:Tujia Ethnic Ancient Village of Shiyanping (L)

Your will drive roughly 2.5 hours and go to the ancient village --Shiyanping, which is about 48km away from zhangjiajie city. with more than 90 percent of intact vegetation and forest. At the foot of the mountain, about 180 stilted buildings built by the Tujia ethnic group. Then have lunch before go back hotel.

Day 7: Zhangjiajie Fairy Stream by Cycling (L)

Start the tour on 9am and enjoy adventure tour to Fairy Stream, it is about 4 kilometers away from zhangjiajie city with a forest coverage rate of 98%. People say that there was a fairy lady taking shower here in this stream a long time ago, and this also explained why it is called as "fairy stream". 

After 40 minutes bike riding around the area, you will head to Fairy stream reservoir, following you will keep cycling alongside the Reservoir to get deeper into the Gorge to see the mystery of this amazing place, then have lunch before coming back hotel.
