Overnight: Mirador Santiaguito Volcano

This tour will take you from Quetzaltenango to the Llanos del Pinal, where you will begin your hike to the crater on the Santiaguito Volcano. The hike will be difficult, but rewarding, as you will see an incredible variety of plants and animals, in addition to incredible views of volcano Santa Maria (3,772 m) and the surrounding area. After reaching the summit of Santiaguito, you will set up camp and enjoy the incredible adventure that the volcano has to offer. All camping gear will be provided and you will stay the night on the mountain. The following morning we will hike down the volcano and head back to Quetzaltenango.
