Santiaguito Volcano Hike

From Quetzaltenango, it will take 30 minutes by bus to get to Llanos del Pinal. Here we will begin our 5 mile walk to the lookout where we can see the Santiaguito Volcano. At 2,510m, it is one of 3 active volcanoes, and if the volcano permits, we may see an eruption. From here, we can also observe and be at the foot of the volcano Santa Maria (3772), as well as view the volcano Siete Orejas.
