This tour shows you the most interesting sights of Zurich and its surroundings! Start with a guided city tour of Zurich which shows you the commercial center, a section of the Old Town, Fraumuenster Church from the outside, historical Limmatquai and the university district. Drive along the Hoehenstrasse which offers spectacular views into the Alps, we then drive to Rapperswil which is named the 'City of Roses'. The charming little town of Rapperswil offers unique attractions for visitors - the Rose Gardens, the Castle, the deer park on the Lindenhof and the picturesque Old Town.

After a guided orientation tour and some time at leisure in Rapperswil, enjoy a 2-hour cruise on the Lake of Zurich (unescorted). There is a restaurant on board for your convenience. First possible boat back is scheduled to arrive at 3:25pm at Zurich Buerkliplatz Pier.

Between November and March there are no boats operating, so you return to Zurich by modern train 'Gold Coast Express' along the romantic road that follows the lake-shore.

We decided once on the tour to upgrade to Heidiland tour. We found we would be 6 1/2 hours and dropped off at an entire location on the great tour. The brochure said it was a four hour tour. The Heideland tour was 1/2 hour longer and dropped us off about where we started. The tour was very good just we were on a time frame that got messed up because the information was not correct.

Nice bus ride through Zurich seeing the highlights of the city. Really enjoyed the return boat ride on the lake.

No, this tour was NOT amazing!!! The tour guide was in a constant hurry to drop us off and end the tour. He would not go over one minute of the alloted time scheduled for the tour. I had to take my mother to the bathroom and we were left behind because "Walter" could not wait fo us.
